Profile

We work on brand environments.
Being at the intersection of architecture, product and graphic design, we are making brands visible at all levels. To accommodate this wide range and diversity of projects we work in flexible teams, where the project determines the size and expertise needed. Once started as a casual
sunday-gathering, we now work with an international team of artists, architects and designers. The stain of a coffee cup is our logo, since we still meet during the sunday-morning coffee.

Fair
Fair/Being fair is at the very core of our design beliefs and is the guideline in the way we operate our design practise. It also implicates fairness to future
generations. Australian architect Glenn Murcut has said it well: “Touch the earth lightly“. We believe that we must live within the limits of our resources and systems. We must recognise that we are part of a fragile and interdependent ecology called earth.

Simple
Simple/We try to make our stuff simple. We are rebelling against technology that's too complicated, DVD players with too many menus, and software accompanied by 75-megabyte “read me“ manuals. The iPod's clean gadgetry has made simplicity hip. John Maeda, a MIT Media Lab Professor who wrote “The Laws of Simplicity“, describes it beautifully; “Simplicity is about substracting the obvious and adding the meaningful“.
The double wall glasses from Bodum are a great example. Made from heat-resistant glass, the double wall system allows you to pour both very hot and very cold liquids into the glass, while still holding it comfortably in your hand. Through its physical design you still can see it's content, while becoming quite a beautiful object in itself. The simplicity of these glasses sets them apart from the rest.

Daring
Daring/We dare to see things differently. Some may see us as the crazy ones, because we're not fond of rules and we have no respect for the status quo. We want to change things and push society forward. We dare to come up with crazy ideas and take great example in people who did so.
